This is a photo of my buddy Ben and me after a hard day working to get the Audrey Marie ready to set sail. Also, three great shots of the Bay Bridge from Day 1.
Thomas Point Lighthouse, some shots of a tanker that we passed anchored before the Bay Bridge and a Tugboat pushing a Crane on a floating platform.

Bill and Peter,
Even though I don’t think I could rough it on a sailboat for that time, I’m so envious of the adventure that you two have taken. I’ve enjoyed reading about your journey and will look forward to doing so over the next few weeks. I’m going to share this with our 6th grade social studies teacher and I think she will turn your adventure into one of her learning centers. Be Safe!

Hey Bill! What a wonderful trip. Lawrence and I are soooo jealous. We both love to sail. He actually built a boat in England and then sailed it to Spain. If you’re ever looking for crew, let us know. In the meantime, it’s wonderful to see you enjoying yourself. Lots of love, Sandy and Lawrence
