The Voyage
Below is an interactive Map of the First Great Adventure of the Audrey Marie! Below I’ve plotted out our first two weeks of adventuring, which takes us from Herrington Harbour South all the way to Boston Harbor (a total of about 580 miles sailing).
I’m going to be chronicling both by text and by newfangled video the first great adventure of my father’s Island Packet 38, the venerable Audrey Marie as we sail for approximately four weeks. We will be setting sail on or about the 24th of June, 2009 and returning sometime around the 18th of July, 2009.
Overall, we plan to head from our port of call, Herrington Harbour in Rose Haven, MD, north towards Portland, ME. On our trip, we will be stopping in various exciting places and spending time enjoying the nightlife of the eastern seaboard.
So, if you like adventure, nightlife and may even want to join us somewhere, feel free to follow along!

Best of luck on your travels!!!~ I will be in Maine all of July, and CT late June, so maybe at some point of your journey we can meet up! Hopefully the rain will end soon!!!

Emily! Hope your summer is going well thus far. Not sure we’ll make it all the way to Maine (because of our extended stay in Atlantic City, haha) but we should be in CT around the same time! Hope to see you when we get there. I’ll keep you updated as we get closer.
